Why Host a Static HTML Blog?

Have you ever noticed the load times on a moderen web page? It can take minutes for a page with no real information to load. It's insane the amount of Javascript used to make mediocre looking pages filled with annoying adds and AI slop that is filled with stupid lists that give no real information at all.

Don't get me wrong, nothing I am going to write is going to have any real information at all either, but at least its 100% human!

Anyway, this file is less then 3kb and will load in less then a second on dialup; assuming that anyone still has dialup. Not using a CMS allows me to publish this (or any blog) wherever and whenever I want to without having to worry about what version of MYSQL or PHP I am running; I can create diffrent CSS sheets for each post as needed, or completely change the HTML for one post if I feel like it.

Readability is key, and quite honestly, I think this looks better then 99% of the Wordpress blogs out there.
